What
we consider as important
-
We
value Christ-Centeredness.
As the name of our church suggests we recognize that all of our
resources flow from our relationship to Christ. Without that
relationship we can do nothing but wither and burn.
-
We
value dependence on the Leading of the Spirit.
By meditation of the Word of God, prayer and fasting we
understand that God sets us in the right direction, keeps us on
the right path and empowers us to keep up the pace most pleasing
to Him.
-
We
value Bold and Expectant Faith
that manifests itself in constantly asking God to do big things
through us for the expansion of the Kingdom of God, while at the
same time faithfully using all the human and natural means that
we have at our disposal. Our confidence is in the Lord's promise
that as we abide in Him and his Word abides in us we can ask in
prayer whatever it is that we desire for his kingdom and he will
do it.
-
We
value walking
in Unfeigned Love one with another. We promote a spirit of
unconditional love and acceptance yet an honest, sincere, and
firm commitment to stimulate each other to growth. This requires
the willingness to be vulnerable to each other and to commit to
lovingly confront those who need to be corrected and to allow
others the right to confront us with our sin, unfaithfulness or
carnality.
-
We
value excellence.
In every aspect of life and ministry
we strive to do the best that we can with the resources that we
have at hand while we remind each other that excellence reflects
the character of God and not our natural ability.
-
We
value Personal development.
Our responsibility is to develop and nurture the gifts and
ministries that God has entrusted to us both in our own lives
and in the lives of those that we disciple. We don't do
this to promote people but to do our part to contribute to the
work of God recognizing that we are his workmanship edifying his
Kingdom with his power.
